Created in my Studio each wall basket is Completely Unique and takes many hours to process, create and hand weave. to create a totally Organic shape.
All materials have been sourced sustainably. The Bullrush I've used for this piece has been harvested locally in Bedfordshire.
The Raffia used to create this particular piece has been hand processed and dyed with Walnut Shells, Eucalyptus bark and foraged acorn caps. I've used a metal mordant and another process to create darker shades
Crocosmia has been harvested and dried by me and incorporated into this art work.
As all the materials and colours utilised in this piece are derived from plant sources they all work beautifully together.
